Police organises Manasbal Soccer League 2017

Srinagar, December 15: In its drive to strengthen a relation with the youth of the district, Ganderbal police  held  the opening match of Manasbal Soccer League 2017.

      The event was held in the grounds of Sainik school, Manasbal and was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shri Piyush Singla  and Senior  Suprintendent of Police Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmed Lone.

      It is note worthy that Ganderbal police recently granted amnesty to 176 youth of the district involved in stone pelting cases in the unrest of 2016 and 2017. Building upon its message for youth to come forward and invest their energies in productive activities, a soccer tournament is being organised by Ganderbal police.

          Eight teams are participating in it and in opening ceremony match FC LAR and FC SAFAPORA played.

      ASP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Hussain, ASP Hqrs Shri Utkarsh Duggal, DySP Ganderbal Shri Ashaq Hussain, Principal Sainik school Manasbal Shri Nazir Ahmad and other police officers were present on the occasion.
